We Advocate Gender Equity in a Community Forum on Gender, Equity and Higher Education in California Free Event. All Welcome! Saturday, May 9 9:30am-6:00pm Malcolm X Library 5148 Market Street San Diego, CA 92114 Can't Attend? Please consider sponsoring a student attendee for Buffet Luncheon including utilizing the Lilly Ledbetter Law for multi-pronged individual and organizational approaches for combating gender discrimination in higher education. Women (and men) will share materials from their lived and related experiences of advocacy for gender equality. Workshop and discussion leaders include elected officials, legal experts, community and organizational representatives as well as students, faculty and staff. Brown bag or attendees can make advance purchase of buffet luncheon for $20.00 payable to WAGE by May 4, 2009.
