Forum presenters and participants will examine political, legal and extralegal tools and strategies for promoting gender equity in the academy
including utilizing the Lilly Ledbetter Law for multi-pronged individual and organizational approaches for combating gender discrimination in higher education.

Women (and men) will share materials from their lived and related experiences of advocacy for gender equality.
Workshop and discussion leaders include elected officials, legal experts, community and organizational representatives as well as students, faculty and staff.

Brown bag or attendees can make advance purchase of buffet luncheon for $20.00 payable to WAGE by May 4, 2009.
