Los Alamos Suit

Two suits filed by Los Alamos National Lab employees were combined in July 2004 and the plaintiffs seek certification as a class. The first suit, alleging gender discrimination, was filed in December 2003 by two female lab employees.
The second suit was filed in January 2004 by the Hispanic Roundtable of New Mexico, University Professional and Technical Employees, and several individuals. The combined suit alleges violations of the Equal Pay Act, among other laws. For documents regarding this case against UC (which runs the Los Alamos Lab), see http://payequitynow.info/.
