The MIT Effect
Several institutions are planning to duplicate the MIT study on their campuses reports
the Chronicle of Higher Education (12/3/99). Catherine Didion of the
Association for Women in Science says she's received more than two dozen
telephone calls on this subject. Among the institutions: the California Institute of
Technology, Case Western Reserve University, Harvard Medical School, the University
of Arizona, and the University of California at Los Angeles. The University of Buffalo
